There are a few people in this world who give so that others can do what they love. Stephen was one of those people. He umpired us Marden Russets Hockey Ladies whenever we asked him and was doing that even just a few weeks ago. He was always thoroughly professional and was an excellent umpire. He was fair and kind and joined us for match tea to laugh at the funny things and help us with the areas we could improve on. We valued all his contributions and his positive approach to life. We will miss seeing him on Saturdays and thank Eileen and the family for allowing us to share him. Rest in Peace Stephen xx
